I cannot recommend POP In and Play ASN highly enough! It is such a fantastic, welcoming and inclusive space, with so much thought and care put into creating meaningful experiences for children with additional support needs.

One of the things I love most is the incredible variety of rooms and how they change from time to time, keeping the experience fresh, exciting and full of new opportunities for exploration. The sensory lights, equipment and devices are brilliant, particularly for children who seek sensory input. The use of the hoist for non-ambulant children is fantastic, allowing them to access different pieces of equipment and explore the environment in different ways. Being able to lie down and fully experience the sensory room is wonderful.

There is so much on offer that even two classes from a school can comfortably enjoy the space together, with plenty of opportunities for everyone to explore, engage and experience something meaningful without feeling overcrowded.

I use this service weekly with my class at a complex ASN school. Due to a variety of needs within the class, we are unable to access most outings. However, Pop In & Play ASN has been absolutely fabulous for our class and school. It is clearly run by people who have a deep understanding of children with ASN as each space and it's contents are well thought out and executed. The inclusion of visuals and communication boards allows the pupils to engage with staff during play, creating wonderful opportunities of positive and fun communication. It was so nice to have found the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's 6th birthday - Pop in and Play. They have thought of everything in each room. We’ve been coming to Pop in & Play for about 6 months now and my children age 4 and 7 absolutely love it. We are a very neurodiverse family and my mum who is 75 also absolutely loves the space. In the past few months Robyn and the team have really transformed the space and what was already very good, bright and accessible is now even better. My children particularly love the cinema room upstairs but there is something for everyone. Every nook and cranny of the building has been designed with care and nurture in mind. Today was an amazing experience at the ASN pop in and play. The place was spotless and had so much for the kids to do. The main feeling it gave was having a place that felt safe to take our children and the much younger siblings who are under 1. The girls had the best time and we can wait to go back. We went for the first time this evening.
Communication was excellent and instructions easy to follow.
I took my two nephews and niece - ages 6, 9 and 12.
The rooms were all tidy and resources were all clean and in good condition.
The rooms cater for all needs not just asn - there is lots of sensory equipment which met my nephews needs, lots physical equipment which my two nephews loved and a movie room with projector which my 12 year old niece really enjoyed.
It was lovely to have an area to sit at to enjoy snacks together.
There has been lots of thought and love put in to creating this space, it was clear to see.
